Adv. Gad Mina

Adv. Gad Mina, the founder of the Gad Mina Law Firm, is a leading mediator and arbitrator in the fields of civil and commercial law. He is also a prominent litigator in Israel in the commercial and administrative law fields.

Adv. Gad Mina also serves as co-chairman of the Tel Aviv District's Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee and is a recognized lecturer with respect to arbitration before many legal forums, including the Institute of the Art of Law at Tel Aviv University’s Faculty of Law.

In addition to being an arbitrator and mediator, Adv. Gad Mina has over 15 years of experience representing clients before various courts in civil, commercial and administrative law, which he acquired over the years as a lawyer at two of Israel’s leading law firms.

Adv. Gad Mina has extensive knowledge and experience in representing leading companies and businesspeople in various fields of law, including corporate, contract, real estate, communications and transportation law.

Adv. Gad Mina holds an LL.B. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Masters degree in Law (LL.M) with honors from Fordham University in New York in International Business and Trade Law and was admitted to the Israel Bar in 2002.

Are your tiny houses RVIA and NOAH certified?


Yes, all of our move-in-ready homes are RVIA Certified.

We also offer NOAH certification (National Organization of Alternative Housing) on our homes for an additional fee.

NOAH certification is a higher building standard than RVIA and is excellent for maintaining a higher resale value. NOAH inspects each home at 5 different stages of construction and keeps videos of the inspections on file on their website. Potential buyers can view these inspections to see the high quality of the build and that everything was built to code.

NOAH also certifies Tiny House Shells
(RVIA will not certify a partial build.)
For a shell, NOAH will perform some of the inspections with Indigo River during our portion of the build. Once you take over construction, you will contact NOAH to perform the remaining inspections at your location.

How much do your homes cost? Why do they cost more than an RV or Park Model Mobile home?


We build on the highest quality custom tiny home trailers available and we use the strongest building materials & longest lasting construction practices known in the building sciences.

Our homes are craftsman quality so the price reflects the longevity and durability of our product.
All of our homes are towable but we use the same (or better) materials & building practices that you would find in a traditional custom home built on a foundation.* We NEVER sacrifice quality by rushing the process or cutting corners on materials. The hyper-inflation of building materials is an unfortunate side effect of recent events but we will continue to use high-quality components even if they cost more. *We are NOT a manufactured home factory and we do NOT use mobile home quality materials or building practices.

Can I make changes to the floor plans on your website? Will you build from plans I already have?


YES! We are a totally custom home builder. We have standard features that are included in our base prices, but we've never built the exact same house twice.

The 2D Floor Plans that Peter designs for you are yours to keep. (Both a digital & hard copy.)
He will design for your personal priorities & lifestyle, balanced with important structural & technical considerations. This ensures your home designs will maximize ideal function as well as durability.

You can take these custom floor plans to another builder or if you decide to build with Indigo River, we will deduct the design fees already paid from your overall home price.

The Floor Plan Design Consult is $375 and usually lasts about 1 1/2 hours. You will receive your floor plan at the end of your appointment. Over the following week, Peter will use your designs to create a personalized estimate for building your home with all of the features and finishes you chose at your consult.

What size homes do you offer?


Widths:
We currently build in 2 widths:
8'6" or 10'3" wide
Both are road legal and towable without a CDL.
You can use a 3/4 ton or 1-ton pickup to pull all of our homes.

Lengths:
12' 16' 20' 24' 28' 32' or 36' on a bumper pull trailer.
You can also add a Gooseneck trailer extension which adds 7' to each length above, so the maximum length that we build is 43'.

Height:
Most of our homes are 13'6" tall (measured from the ground) which is the maximum road legal height.
We also offer an 11' tall option in our Indigo Go Model Square Footage: Tiny Homes are a maximum of 399 square feet to legally qualify as "Tiny."
The smallest home we have built so far was 136 square feet.
These figures include the legal square footage which does NOT include loft space with less than 5'5" of head clearance. So homes with lofts will have more square footage of actual living space than the "foot print" of the trailer.




What kind of vehicle do I need to tow your Tiny Homes?


A standard pickup like an F150 or C1500 might be able to pull a 16' home but it would have a hard time pulling a 20' home, even if it is within the towing capacity.

Remember, these homes have a lot of surface area and therefore a lot of wind resistance.
We highly recommend you use a diesel 3/4 ton truck (F250, C2500, or the equivalent) to pull our 20' & 24' houses. You'll need a 1 ton truck (F350, C3500, or equivalent) for the 28' and larger homes.

If you plan to move your house infrequently, it's more economical to rent these bigger pickups from Enterprise. You can also hire transport companies to move your house.




Do you deliver?


Yes. Delivery is available to all 50 US States.

Delivery within 50 miles of our shop is currently $750.
Once on site we can assist with hooking up the home to existing utilities, skirting and/or anchoring your home for an additional fee.
(Prices subject to change without notice.)
For delivery beyond 50 miles we can recommend long-haul companies experienced with Tiny Home Delivery.
(Currently prices are $3-$5 per mile depending on the size of the home.)




Can you go off-grid in an Indigo River Tiny Home?


Yes. Off-grid options are upgrades to our standard pricing and include water holding tanks, solar power, rain catchment systems, alternative toilets & propane cooking.

Our standard models are designed to be 100% grid-tied with utilities hook ups just like an RV or Travel Trailer. They come with 50-Amp RV power connection, city or well water connection, and sewer line or septic tank connection.




Can I tour an Indigo River Tiny Home in person?


Yes, but we are a small custom builder so we don't have an inventory of models or a showroom. Everything we build is sold before we begin construction.

Each time we finish a home, we usually have an Open House to show it off before it's delivered to the homeowner. Occasionally we take one of our homes to a tiny house show or festival.

Our Open Houses happen about once a month.
We do private tours of our shop by appointment after a phone consultation.

Generally, we have 3-4 homes on-site in various stages of construction that visitors can tour to get a feel for the quality of our work.
Our EVENTS page has a calendar where you can RSVP for upcoming Open Houses or Tiny House Shows.

Where can I park my tiny house?


New places open up every month as cities and RV parks become more tiny-house -friendly. The short answer: You can park a tiny house on wheels (THOW) anywhere you can park an RV.

Indigo River homes are legally considered Travel Trailers with a VIN and license tag, so they fall into the Travel Trailer category for parking.

www.dfwtiny.com In Texas, the laws are such that you can generally live full time in Tiny Homes on Wheels on any private property that is outside of city limits.
Exceptions are cities like Austin and the city of Lake Dallas that have relaxed their laws to allow Tiny Homes on Wheels inside the city limits. Other cities across the US (like Los Angeles) are also slowly revising their laws to allow for Tiny Homes so we recommend reading the zoning laws for your property or consulting a realtor to help determine the legal status of Tiny Home Dwelling for any property you are considering purchasing.

How long does it take to build a home with Indigo River? What is the process like?


Currently, a move-in-ready home is estimated to take 9 months from the down payment to completion. A shell could be completed in 7 months depending on the level of finish out you desire.

Once you make your down payment we will order your custom built Tiny House Trailer which takes 6-10 weeks to be built and delivered. While we are waiting for your trailer we will finalize your 3D elevations & materials schedule so we can order your windows, doors and other custom components of your home.

When your trailer foundation arrives we will begin building the basic structure of the home: framing, sheathing, roofing, siding, insullation, sub-floor, plumbing & electrical lines etc. We will complete as much as possible while we wait for the windows to arrive and once they are installed we can then complete the exterior trim and get the home "dried in" and painted. (We build inside a warehouse so your home will stay dry the whole time.)

Next we will turn to the interior: Framing out the floor plan (if it wasn't done while we were waiting on windows) and installing wall boards and flooring. We always paint the bathroom to seal against water damage and if you ordered more interior paint we will get started on that as well. The bathroom & kitchen components will be installed including custom cabinetry build specifically to fit your home. More paint usually follows and then we will install the lights, switches and electrical outlets. We will continue to work on the final details and finishing touches including thorough systems testing so everything is operational and ready for delivery.

Throughout this entire process, Indigo River will provide you with regular updates including photos of the build showing the progress made. If you are local, you can also stop by periodically to walk through the home to see the progress and discuss any concerns with our team. Sometimes we do "facetime walk-throughs" for our out of town customers if we are needing to touch base on the project.

Once your home is complete we will meet with you to walk-through it together, go over our delivery checklist & maintenance instructions, and sign any necessary paperwork. Although this CAN be done remotely for out of town customers, we highly recommend that you come to Dallas for this final walk-through if at all possible.

Please note: since 2020 we are experiencing extended lead times for delivery of ALL materials and we have done our best to account for this "new normal" in our building timelines. We try to keep standard materials and components on hand, but due to an extremely volatile market and supply chain, sometimes the wait for materials is even longer than our adjusted estimates. Custom ordered materials can be even trickier & sometimes suppliers can't even give us firm delivery dates!

Because of these factors, we strongly suggest that you prepare flexible contingency plans for your living arrangements incase you are not able to move into your home by the projected completion time.

Indigo River works very hard to stay on schedule, but sometimes the build is delayed by circumstances beyond our control. In some cases we can be flexible and substitue materials or create work-arounds, but we WILL NOT sacrifice quality in order to meet a deadline. If we have to wait a few extra weeks for the right materials to finish your home, we know that is a small, short term price to pay for the long term benefits of doing the job right the first time.

Our #1 goal is to build the highest quality tiny home on wheels in the industry and to deliver a sound & durable product to you that will keep you safe & comfortable for many decades to come.

Can you build a Tiny Home on my property?


Currently we are only taking orders for Tiny Homes on Wheels that we build in our Shop in NE Dallas.

All of our homes are easily towable and legally considered travel trailers with a license plate and VIN.

Usually customers keep our homes on the wheels, but it IS possible to remove the wheels once you get the home in place on your property. You can also build a deck around the home which hides the wheels perfectly if you don't want to remove them.

The trailer foundations of our homes come with very sturdy stabalizing jacks (not scissor jacks) and they come equipped with D-rings for anchoring the home into the ground.

In North Texas we recommend placing the home on an "improved" surface such as a concrete pad or 4" of gravel, but in some areas of the country you can place it on the bare ground.
